Requirements & Skills
Firstly, you need to make sure you are eligible. To be eligible, you need to both be a member in-game (If you're not one already then you should already know how to become a member if you want to become a moderator or admin.) and have played on the server for at least two weeks. We can and do check both of these requirements. In addition to these hard requirements, you should have several soft skills as well: a good ability to think on your feet and come up with solutions to problems as they arise; good English skills (We realize that English is not everyone's first language, but, the server needs to be presented with a reasonable degree of professionalism. Please tell us in your application if English is not your first language so we can be more lenient on assessing it), a good knowledge of the modpack, Minecraft in general, and (preferably) the know-how to help us administer our Linux dedicated server. The application process is designed to help us determine where you stand in relation to each of these skills. It would be wise to keep that in mind while continuing. In addition to these requirements it should be noted that after an application is denied, you must wait at least 3 weeks before posting a new one.
Applying to become a staff member is very easy; once you have verified that you meet the requirements simply copy and paste the below application template, fill it out, and then post it as a new thread in this section. You should read over your answers at least once and it it would be helpful to your chances of being accepted if you ask another person to read it over. We expect a well-thought out response that help us determine both what you are like as a person and what you are like as a staff member. Make sure that you bold the questions and do not bold your answers.
The path of rank progression in the Modded Minecraft Club is Guest -> Member -> Moderator -> Admin. You can not apply for the next rank until you have obtained the previous one. Specifically, you can not apply to be a staff member at all until you are a member and you can not apply to be an admin until you are a moderator (to become an admin post a staff application at least 4 weeks after your accepted moderator application).
